Visited the ling zhi restaurant at Far East Square on Sunday for dinner. LOL.
I was quite satisfied at their service.. weee..
Secondly, the dishes turned out to be one person per portion kind you know..
And they were quite cute to me.
Although its a vegetarian place, the food there was NICE (all except one).
The only not nice dish was the PUMPKIN thingy and I forgot what was the name of it.
I don't like to eat pumpkin in the first place.
After finishing our dinner, the person serving us even asked "hows the food?".
So friendly.
OH and the waitresses were quite pretty too.
However, the dinner cost could actually burn a BIG BIG hole in your WALLET.

Ok, let's take a look at the interesting dishes served at LING ZHI.


This is my first dish and my favourite too.
Its fried tofu done personlly by the chef.
And mind you, it is each person one small plate of that TOFU can. -.-|||
I thought it would be like one big plate of tofu whereby you scoop them yourself those kind..
LOLOL.


Alright, this was the next dish that was served.
Similar as the above...
It was AGAIN, each person one of it.
Soup in coconut. Looks cute yah? Heh.
It tasted quite unique and nice. =DDD



Oooh, I was the one who ordered this.
Its supposed to be duck meat (the vegetarian version.. LOL)
It is actually layers of thin bean skin fried until crispy that kind.
So you will feel a crispy sensation when you place it into your mouth. Yay. Nice!



Right, here comes the cutest one.
Probably the picture quality looked a little DULL.
But anyway, again everyone one plate of it.
Dressing on it were a strawberry and a green leaf.
That big thing beside was the PUMPKIN with many white threads of crispy dunno what coiled continuously around it.
But, because I didn't like pumpkin and that pumpkin, although looked cute on the funny-shaped plate, was quite a big portion for me.
You know, its like "JIT PU" (one pile ---- yah like JIT PU SAI/one pile of shit) of pumpkin. Eat until siao.
But I will still give credits to the presentation of the overall thingy.



Following the "JIT PU PUMPKIN", it was the fried brown rice.
Oh, usually I would say BROWN rice = not nice.
But this one tasted VERY VERY nice.
It had the smokey smokey taste that came with it.
You know, like the chef fried the rice with super BIG BIG fire and he usually likes to fling all the rice in his wok around the flame just to obtain that smokey taste.
Oh by the way, I forgot to mention, the size of this BOWL, is the smallest size bowl you can ever find to put rice for decent consumption.
Smaller than the bowl to put sharkfin's soup at JUMBO ok.
Don't play play.



Ok, I really got no idea what this was.
I think there were sea cucumbers inside.
But anyway, it had an appealing taste.
And again, the "JIT PU pumpkin" dish is on the right background of the picture.



Here comes DESSERT time!
This is black sesame paste. yay.
The cup size is like you know, breakfast buffet at international hotels, those cups used to put orange juice one.
The mini mini mini cup. THAT SIZE.



And here comes my FAVOURITE DESSERT!
MANGO PUDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Needless to say, in order to make their servings cute cute, the size of that transparent bowl is slightly smaller than the size of my tea cup.
Its too cute to be true. but its true. LOL.

Alright, thats about all for my dinner on sunday.
I shall introduce more funny/weird stuffs in future if I can find.
